Davenport, Iowa — October 7, 2025. With the city primary now behind them, Davenport voters can look ahead to the next major opportunity to hear directly from those seeking office. A public candidate forum will be held on Wednesday, October 29, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at St. Ambrose University’s Rogalski Center. “The 2025 Davenport City Election is one of most consequential city elections that we have had in a very long time,” said Brian Kramer, Executive Director of the Hilltop Campus Village. “As we have seen over the last two years, Davenport has had successes, and lows, in the areas of Economic Development, in Social Services, in Housing, and the City’s basic mandate to serve the taxpayers of Davenport.” The forum, which is free and open to the public, will feature candidates in all competitive races. Voters will be able to hear candidates discuss key issues facing Davenport ahead of the November election. For those unable to attend in person, KWQC-TV will broadcast and stream the event live on its sub-channel Cozi 6.3, Mediacom 106 or KWQC.com/livestream making it accessible citywide.
