The Hilltop Campus Village has continued to move forward with its Master Planning process. The Hilltop Campus Village master plan project is key to the future of the organization and future development in the neighborhood. The goal of this document is threefold: to be used as a blueprint for the future of this important corridor in Davenport; to be used as a development and investment tool to entice interest in the Hilltop; and to be used as a tool for the Hilltop Campus Village Main Street Organization that it can measure success with.
Over January and February, the HCV circulated a survey for the public to provide input about the Hilltop Campus Village. The Hilltop is now ready to move forward on the next step: Community input through charrettes and focus groups. “The HCV is really excited on how well this project is going, but we encourage more participation from the public,” stated Executive Director Brian Kramer. The Hilltop will be hosting these meetings over the next couple of weeks, but ones that are community focused will be held this week. Below are the dates and times:
- Wednesday, March 26th 5:30 PM to 7:00 PM at SAU Rogalski Center – Open to the Public
- Thursday, March 27th 12 PM (Noon) to 1:30 PM at Palmer Welcome Center – Open to the Public
- Thursday, March 27th 5:30 PM to 7 PM at SAU Rogalski Center – Open to the Public
These meetings are being hosted so the public can provide more nuanced comments and input. If interested in participating, please go to our Google Form to RSVP, or contact Brian Kramer at Brian@hilltopcampusvillage.org .
“It is important that we have feedback from the community on what they would like to see and what they feel would be meaningful improvements to this area of Davenport. I think a major theme in our public discourse at the moment is that there is a feeling that people do not have a voice in these decisions. This is an opportunity to provide feedback on this very specific area of Davenport” stated Kramer. For more information please stop by Our Master Plan Page For More Information
